CLEANING PORCELAIN-ENAMELLED COOKWARE

After cooking, allow the pan to cool down before immersing it in water, especially cold water. To clean the porcelain-enamelled exterior on your cookware, wash your cookware in warm, soapy water using a soft nylon brush, then rinse and dry. We recommend using a mild dishwashing detergent. Do not use metal scourers or harsh abrasives on the porcelain enamel.

If food remains stuck to the cooking surface, boil a mixture of three parts water and one part vinegar in your pan on medium heat for 5-10 minutes. Let it stand until cooled. Then wash in warm, soapy water, rinse and dry.

To prevent water spotting, rinse in warm water after washing and towel dry thoroughly. Unless otherwise stated in the Use and Care instructions that came with your cookware purchase, we do not recommend the use of an automatic dishwasher with porcelain exterior cookware, as the harsh dishwasher detergent may dull the gloss finish over time.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS – PORCELAIN ENAMELLED COOKWARE

“How do I remove grease stains on the exterior of the pan?”
Try using a non-abrasive cream cleaner on fresh stains. However, note that it is difficult to remove grease stains, especially when they have been repeatedly heated. Whenever possible, wipe off oil splatters or spills as they occur to eliminate the build-up of stains.
